Module A-180-2 is a simple multi-connector.

It has eight inter-connected sockets, so that you can patch more inputs or outputs into any module. The sockets are split into two groups of four. If an 8-fold multiple is required a bridge has to be soldered at the pc board. Even though the A-180-1 is a very "primitive" low-level module it is required very often. Within a big A-100 system sufficient multiples should be planned.

The A-180-3 is a dual buffered 1-in-3 multiple.

The signal applied to the input socker appears as a buffered signal at the three output sockets. Each output has it's own buffer -the three output sockets are not simply connected to each other. The lower output of the upper unit is normalized to the input of the lower unit. That way the module works as a single 1-in-6 buffered multiple provided that no signal is applied to the input of the lower unit.

Application: copying/buffering of control and audio signals.
